There isn't much you have to know to appreciate the Barong and Kris Dance, performed daily in Batubulan Village in Bali. Like just about everything in Bali, the Barong and Kris Dance tells the story of a struggle between Good and Evil, based on Hindu's Philosophy.

Arts & Handicraft Center at Celuk
Celuk as an art center , where gold and silversmiths display the skills they learned form their forefathers.

Holy Spring Temple at Tampaksiring
Tampaksiring is a town in central Bali that is less a tourist area and more a point of interest, because of the State Palace resort. If you wish to go there (and you normally can), it is definitely wise to have a local go with you, as the government still uses the Presidential Palace to welcome and entertain state visitors. The Holy Spring Temple located right below the State Palace. The holy spring in the temple's inner courtyard is said to have magical curative powers. Nearby bathing pools have cool clear water pouring from mossy spouts. The Temple grounds were recently opened for tourists interested in bathing in the spring water.

Lake & Mount Batur at Kintamani
The village of Batur was formerly sited in the Batur crater until a violent eruption of the volcano in 1917 and again in 1926. The village was relocated to the crater rim and the surviving shrine was placed in the new temple Pura Ulun Danu. This temple is of considerable importance and is one of Bali's nine directional temples. The villages of Batur and Kintamani now adjoin each other. The spectacular views are well worth a visit and for those more energetic, the climb up Gunung Batur is well worth the effort and affords spectacular views of sunrise and sunset from the top.

Traditional Village of Penglipuran - Bangli
Penglipuran is a traditional village at the administrative village of Kubu village. The air is fresh because it is located at 700 meters above sea level. From historical point of view, according to the village elders, the words 'Penglipuran' is drived from the words 'Pengeling Pura' means a holy place for remembering their ancestors. It is reasonable since their ancestors came from Bayung Gede Village, still in Kintamani district. since from Bayung Gede to Penglipuran is quite along distance therefore the people of Penglipuran, established the same temple as the temple in Bayung Gede. We can drow conclusion from this matter that the people of Penglipuran is still remembering their origin.Another opinion stated that 'Penglipuran' is derived from the word 'Penglipuran' means 'relaxation' since on the royal period this place was good spot for resting place. This village has cultural potency which is up to the present time still well preserved in the form of traditional Balinese buildings; which differentiate this village from others.

Kehen Temple
Kehen temple is one of ancients temples in Bali where were housed there old bronze-made manuscripts. This temple is worshipped by the people around the village. The ceremony takes place on Rabu Kliwon Shinta where Ngusaba ceremony is held one in a there years period, which is fall on Purnama kelima around November. This temple is located on the southern slope of Bangli hill about two kilometers from the town. It is really an historical temple worth visiting with a long plight of steps pointing down to the south. It can be reached by any mode of transports through asphalted road, or a short walk from Bangli cultural Hall.
